SUICIDE OF A TRADESMAN - On Sunday noon the discovery was made that a well-known Holmfirth business man, Mr. Harry Haigh (56), master plasterer, had committed suicide. He left his home in the morning to feed his poultry, and was not seen again until noon his younger brother, Dyson Haigh, found his dead body suspended from a beam in the firm's hayloft at Prickleden. No reason for the rash act is known., but it is recalled that he had been somewhat depressed lately. He is survived by a wife and 10 children. |
