In the 2013 edition of the book named as Levi, however the baptism record, 1851 census and 1861 census have the name as Law. In the 1871 census he is named as Levi but in the 1881 census Joe and in the 1891 as Samuel.

      Also from the 2013 edition
Levi changed his name to Samuel and lived with his younger sister Sarah. He was described in the 1891 census as "living on his own means" (money left by his father) as "dumb" and as an "imbecile." such was the fate of those deprived of speech.
