  There is no direct proof that Thomas Wilson is Kathleen Marsden's father. However I feel the balance of probability is very high. My mother Margaret Marsden (Kathleen's daughter) told me that her mother's father's surname was Wilson and was a Solicitor. Kathleen was born in 1893. According to the 1891 Census Annie Marsden lived on Springfield Street and Thomas Wilson, born 1863, lived at "The Poplars", 135 Wigan Lane, occupation Solicitor, which was near the corner of Springfield Street and Wigan Lane.
