      Robert Waddell and his family are connected to the Bathgate Eastonsthrough association only. Isabella Ramsey, who married Alexander Easton,son of John Easton and Helen Fleming, was a domestic servant in theirhome.

      According to research by descendent Janet White, Robert moved with hisfather to Bathgate in 1854
      He owned a big store, in Bathgate, that was also a pawnbroker andwatchmaker. There were also branches in Bo'ness and Larkhall. The storeis now a real estate company. He was also a magistrate and later aBailie in Bathgate. [1]
