  Annie's Marriage Certificate lists just her mother, Annie McPhillipsmaiden name Myers, as a parent, no father, indicating she wasillegitimate. Her siblings were also illegitimate. Her middle name, Gardiner, as listed on marriage registration could havebeen Gardner after her maternal grandmother Ann Gardner. Her headstone reads: "In Loving Memory, Annie Fleming, Beloved wife ofRobert Easton, 1876-1936" The maiden name is incorrect (Fleming wasactually her mother-in-law's maiden name and her half-sister Mary's lastname). According to the death registration, her religion was listed asAnglican at the time of her death, age 59.
